A bold and characterful indigo cotton scattered with large, soft-edged natural spots, creating a striking contrast against the rich blue base. Woven from Kala cotton, this fabric has a gently textured, slightly rustic handle that reflects its handmade origins, with an easy drape that works beautifully for relaxed, everyday garments.

Perfect for dresses, tops, shirts and trousers, this cloth softens with each wash and wear, developing even more character over time.

Width: 120cm

Composition: 100% Kala cotton

Pattern Repeat / Size: Spot approximately 9.5cm

Country of Origin: India

Please note: This fabric is dyed with natural indigo, which will continue to release colour over time and develop a lived-in look. Indian handlooms may feature slight irregularities in the weave, and occasional marks from the outdoor drying process – these will wash out and are part of the fabric’s charm.

Care Instructions: For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30-40°C with a handful of table salt to help fix the dye. Wash with a non-bio detergent. Do not tumble dry.

What is Kala Cotton? A traditional, rain-fed cotton grown in India without pesticides or irrigation. It has a slightly textured handle, is naturally durable and breathable, and softens beautifully over time.
